The Water New Zealand Annual Conference & Expo will be held from 22 – 24 September 2010 at the Christchurch Convention Centre.

Reminder – Book today for the conference

A full programme that includes several overseas speakers has been confirmed. New water loss guidelines will be released at the conference and available post-Conference for non-attendees. This year’s Conference will again include a small trade exhibition. The GHD Conference Dinner will be held on Thursday 11 February, and for the first time will feature after-dinner entertainment!

Water New Zealand Stormwater Conference 2010
13th-14th May at the Novotel Hotel in Rotorua, NZ

The Stormwater Special Interest Group in conjunction with the Modelling Special Interest Group of Water New Zealand and the recently established Rivers Group, are well into the planning stages for the 2010 Stormwater Conference. Thank you to all those who have submitted abstracts, the review process is now completed and all successful authors should have been notified in December.

This is a database of backflow specialists who have completed the 40-hour training course and have up-skilled with a refresher course every 3 years.

World Water Day 2010

Alert! Alert! The WWD Corporate Water Challenge is booked in for Sunday March 21, 2010!

Make sure you keep the date free to take part in or support the Challenge, being held in Auckland and Tauranga.

Teams of four will participate in a relay requiring teamwork, skill, strength and fitness.
Watch out for more info coming soon. In the mean time, mark it on your calendar and start training!

These events are co-hosted by Beca, North Shore City Council and Tauranga City Council, with all proceeds going to Oxfam New Zealand's Water for Survival programmes. Go here to find out more

Answer: Best estimates for food demand are for an increase of 100% in demand by 2050.
